I’m Cindi Rae Thayn – the reason for everything you see here. I even built the website myself!

At the time of this writing I am 50-something, widowed and living in the Eastern Utah desert… but I think it all began with that first macaroni tree when I was 5 yrs old…

I’ve always been creating with my hands ever since I can remember… making purses with a child’s sewing machine, knitting slippers for the family, sewing my own school clothes, embroidery, macrame til my fingers had callouses, heirloom holiday wreaths, crocheting afghans til my hands went numb …

But I always envisioned making a living from selling my art, and so studied under some of the best…

First was Bob Ross who taught me that oil painting landscapes could be just as easy as he makes it look.

I had several clay mentors – Donna Kato, Maureen Carlson, Susanna Oroyan, Jack Johnston,  Judy Belcher, Lisa Pavelka, Sue Heaser, Dottie McMillan, and so many more…

Finally, Preston Reuther came into my world and taught me the fine art of silver/gold wire sculpted  jewelry.

I thank each and everyone of them for sharing their knowledge not only with me, but with the rest of the world…blessings to all and have a Great Day ♥♥♥
