I’ve landed in Nikiski and this is Elmer’s place. Its an unfinished house with a large canopy covering his trailer and a bunch of ‘building supplies’.
This will be home through the winter! I am so excited to be in Alaska. And because I am not alone on this journey, this is my honey, Jim, who will help me through the winter with many things…lol
Unpacking in the new house, and I left this as a message to myself ♥ while I was still dreaming of coming here.
And now I am here…my new adventure begins ♥
Everything is ablaze in purple as the lupine, wild geranium, and fireweed are in bloom EVERYWHERE! Like its all been painted just for me.
I shall have to get used to moose grazing right outside my windows and resist the urge to take pics.
Obviously, I have not learned the resist part yet..lol
