Description
This Mandala reminds us of a happy day. It sits on a black background and starts with a red center and then alternates orange and red with yellow accents, and of course pearlized paints here and there to sparkle it up.
This Alaskan Zen rock was collected at one of our favorite beaches in Nikiski, Alaska on the World Famous Kenai Peninsula. It was a particularly warm day for Alaska at 71° and we spent the day looking for the perfect rocks. Our summer days never get dark here on the peninsula. The sun crosses around overhead and barely dips over the horizon before coming right back up. The magickal dusk/dawn hour here in summer is 2:30 am-3:30 am. After that, the sun is rising again. This mandala is reflective of our midnight suns, and I included a pic of ne of our Alaska midnight suns for your viewing pleasure.
Rock measures 2.25″ x 2″ and is a fairly flat stone at 1/4″ tall; it fits very nice in the palm of your hand.
Each rock is unique; no two will ever be the same. Can be used for meditation, very special thank you gifts, teacher gifts, office worker gift, the Alaska fanatic, secret santa gift, add to your Alaska collection, the hard to buy for person, or additions to your alter, even!
